Sales Executive

Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Overview:

As a Sales Executive at Chipku , you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide innovative and effective insect trap solutions to our customers. You will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, conducting market research, reaching out to potential clients, and closing sales deals to achieve revenue targets. Your role will involve educating customers on our products’ benefits, providing demonstrations, and maintaining strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute sales strategies developed by the sales management team to penetrate new markets and acquire new customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Identify potential clients in both the B2B and B2C segments, initiate contact, and develop relationships to understand their needs and propose appropriate insect trap solutions.
  • Product Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the effectiveness and benefits of our insect traps, emphasizing features that meet the customer’s specific needs.
  • Market Research: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to suggest adjustments to sales strategies and product improvements.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
  • Customer Support: Provide after-sales support, including handling customer inquiries, complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Regularly update the CRM system with sales activities, opportunities, and customer feedback. Prepare and present sales reports to the sales manager detailing sales performance, potential sales opportunities, and market feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote our products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role, preferably in the pest control or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and the ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to identify sales opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as needed.
